What would you do with fitter feet?

Painful feet and legs is an annoyance when it stops us doing what we enjoy in life. We all know the feet are the foundation to our bodies. They carry the load and have to be both mobile and adaptable and rigid and strong. This versatility comes at a price, things just stuck or stretched and just don't work right.

Simply . . . we can help!

Often mis-aligned joints in the feet also cause pain in the knees, legs, hips and lower back, which can be treated successfully with Foot Mobilisation Techniques.

Step 1: Getting acquainted

The first part is for us to get to know you and your feet a little bit better. Only if we really understand your problems and what’s causing the pain can we develop the right foot mobilisation treatment for you.

Step 2: Experience foot mobilisation

Hands-on healing through joint mobilisation and corrective exercises stimulate your body’s natural repair systems. Each visit will promote the following restoration processes:

  • Improve mobility by breaking up adhesions and restrictions around the joints
  • Improve postural stability by stimulating the body’s proprioceptive (balancing) system
  • Improve muscle strength by invigorating the nerve messages sent from the brain to the relevant muscles
  • Reduce the ‘pain messages’ sent to the brain by stimulating the joint

While the treatment only takes a few minutes, the listed effects last for 48-72 hours. Repeated consistently, the effects will continue to last longer and longer.

Step 3: Strengthening exercises

To complement the treatment you receive at our practice, we show you corrective exercises that are specifically tailored for your condition to ensure long lasting results are achieved and maintained. The objectives of the exercises are to stretch and strengthen your muscles so they can stabilise the joint.

Step 4: Reviewing the journey

Follow-up Reviews are a critical way to monitor your body’s progress. These are scheduled periodically to check your progress.
